Food & Drink

A cozy restaurant interior with red upholstered seating, plaid and kilt-patterned pillows, set tables with wine glasses, plates, and napkins, and a vibrant red wall with a large framed photo of a woman holding a blue and white flag, next to a window with a green plant.

Perth city and the wider region has become the go-to destination for some of Scotland’s most exciting young chefs, daring mixologists and culinary teachers.  A bold claim to make in such an exceptional culinary landscape but it was strengthened in 2018 when Perth was named Scotland’s first Food Town at the Scottish Food Awards.

Of course, with distilleries a-plenty and award-winning producers as far as the eye can see, food and drink experiences in Perthshire are far more varied than a meal out in a fantastic restaurant.
