June at Bachilton: Long Days, Countryside Stays & Summer Adventures

June is one of our favourite times of year at Bachilton Farm. The days are longer, the skies are (usually!) brighter, and the countryside is bursting into life. Whether you’re here for a quiet escape or an activity-packed break, early summer is the perfect time to explore all that Bachilton — and Perthshire — has to offer.

Soak Up the Summer Vibes

With over 17 hours of daylight, there’s more time to enjoy the great outdoors. Guests in June often:

  • Wake to birdsong and breakfast on the decking

  • Take peaceful walks around the farm and loch

  • Unwind in the evening around the fire or BBQ

  • Stargaze with a glass of wine under soft summer skies

Stay Your Way

Whether you prefer the comfort of a country cottage or the adventure of glamping in one of our cosy yurts, we’ve got just the thing. All our spaces are designed with comfort and calm in mind — ideal for couples, families, and small groups.

Things to Do This June

Here are just a few ideas to fill your stay:

  • Try archery or axe throwing with one of our on-site activity sessions

  • Visit Scone Palace for gardens in full bloom and a rich slice of Scottish history

  • Wander around Perth, enjoy riverside walks, or treat yourself to a spot of lunch

  • Head to The Hermitage or Drummond Gardens for a nature-filled afternoon
